In addition to its fantastic aquatic life, Layang Layang happens to be an excellent refuge and predator-free breeding ground for seabirds. In fact, the large swallow population is how the atoll got its name! Other common sights include crested terns in courtship, egrets and parenting brown-footed boobies feeding their young.  There's no shortage of exitement for the nature lover on land or on sea. (Just watch out for the bird poop!)
